Gigi Hadid had the perfect routine for Met Gala 2025.
The 30-year-old revealed on the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps that she kicked off her day of prep for fashion’s biggest night with her boyfriend of over a year Bradley Cooper.
“I woke up, I was with my man,” Gigi told Emma Chamberlain in a Vogue interview May 5. “We had a chill morning, some laughs and then I went to my house, I had like an hour by myself, then took a shower, had my fitting, had chicken fingers and fries, then got into glam.”
There was also another part of her routine that stuck out to her.
“I think a little protein in the form of fried chicken,” Gigi explained, “helps take down the jitters a little bit.”
Of course, Gigi—who shares daughter Khai, 4, with ex Zayn Malik—has shown her affection for Bradley in more ways than one. Earlier this month, she made their romance Instagram official by sharing a photo of the pair kissing in a roundup of photos from her birthday party.

“I had the best time celebrating, and it’s a blessing to feel so loved!!” she wrote in the May 3 post. “I am grateful and honored to take on a new decade.”
While Bradley didn’t join Gigi on the steps of the Met, the supermodel still dazzled in a gold Miu Miu gown, which she told E! was inspired by designer Zelda Wynn Valdes.
“Everyone go look her up,” Gigi told Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Met Gala 2025. “She was an amazing dress maker who made some special pieces in the late 40s, trained by her uncle in his men’s tailoring shop and she took those codes and skills and really mixed them together in order to let people express themselves through what she made.”

Now in her 30s, Gigi will certainly be expressing herself more often. “My intention for my 30th year,” she added, “is to say what I think when I think it.”
And though we didn’t get Bradley and Gigi together at the Met, other couples did turn the carpet into their own date night. A$AP Rocky—who was a co-chair for the event along with Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and Colman Domingo—attended the event with pregnant Rihanna just hours after she confirmed the couple were expecting their third baby together.
“I’m good, shockingly feeling okay,” Rihanna—mom to RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months—later told Entertainment Tonight. “and not too overwhelmed at the moment. At first, I was kind of like—tired but I’m excited.”
