Piers Morgan's wife Celia Walden has branded Meghan Markle "desperate" in a blistering attack as she shared her thoughts on the Duchess of Sussex's latest move, which saw her twerk in a hospital room.

Piers Morgan's wife has unleashed a scathing critique, calling Meghan Markle "desperate" not long after the Duchess of Sussex thrilled supporters by disclosing an unreleased video featuring herself and Prince Harry in a maternity ward.
In the video posted on social platforms, Meghan, 43, and 40 year old Harry are captured frolicking in her Santa Barbara hospital chamber just before the birth of their daughter, Princess Lilibet. While the clip brought joy to many for revealing a more playful side of Meghan, Celia Walden was far from charmed.

During her appearance on ITV's 'Lorraine', seated alongside Ranvir Singh and Reverend Richard Coles, Piers Morgan's spouse lambasted the ex-'Suits' star as they delved into the controversial dance clip, reports the Mirror.

Speaking out, broadcaster Celia remarked: "I think we're going to see more and more stuff offered up for public consumption."
She then said: "As she gets a bit more desperate to make people like her," before being cut short by Ranvir.
Article continues belowRanvir asked: "Is that what you think it is, rather than they're in that generation of oversharing is a thing everybody does anyway?"
Celia replied: "That is true, but I do feel with her, very, very little is not premeditated, I have to say. I'm not sure how much he has to do with the decision-making. I could be being very unfair, perhaps he's fully in charge in that relationship."

In other news, Reverend Richard Coles has remarked on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's need to support a lavish lifestyle, noting: "The opportunities for earning that kind of money you'd need to keep that show on the road, are few and the pressure then is on if you're going to feed the beast, what's the next tip that you throw."
Celia Walden weighed in on Meghan and Harry stepping down from their roles as senior royals in January 2020, aspiring towards financial autonomy and a more private life: "There's no judgement, but you can't have both."
Amidst some criticism aimed at the Duchess, Ranvir Singh came to her defence after viewing the video: "I kind of love it because I think it's really funny and warm. It's impressive, isn't it? She's a great dancer ā not too sure about Harry."

Commemorating Lilibet's fourth birthday, the Duchess shared a video with the caption: "Four years ago today, this also happened.
"Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!"
